Featuring Matt Pike from the legendary band SLEEP.  High On Fire was formed
      in Oakland California originally in 1998 with Des Kensel on Drums and George
      Rice on Bass.

      This power trio of heavy metal sludge doom stoner rock released it's debut
      here on 12th RECORDS in 1999, with a 3 song EP.  


      The EP was followed by the 12th Records/GREENAMP Supported 
      MANSRUIN Release The Art of Self Defense in coordination with
      Joel Wheeler / 12th Records and Frank Kozik / MANSRUIN.
